Jean Lim is a Singapore-based piano tuner-technician who blends engineering precision with craftsmanship. A Mechanical Engineering graduate from Nanyang Technological University, she spent five years as an engineer before specialising in piano technology in 2017.
Jean trained at the Japan Piano Technology and Music Academy with support from the National Arts Council Capability Development Grant, and is a licensed installer for Wessell, Nickel & Gross composite action parts and the PianoDisc automated player system.
Guided by her ikigai—a deep love for music and the piano—Jean continually hones her skills with master technicians worldwide. She is dedicated to delivering reliable, high-quality tuning, repair, and performance optimisation for every instrument she cares for.
